ExecutionReportTask

Struct ExecutionReportTask

Source
pub struct ExecutionReportTask<T> {
    pub collection: Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = ()> + Send>>,
    pub result: Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<T>>>>,
}
Expand description

Owned report collection with a core-thread continuation.

Only collection runs on a worker. result receives the collected value and finishes it on the caller’s thread, allowing cache-dependent decisions without moving a live client or cache.

Fields§

§collection: Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = ()> + Send>>

Worker-safe collection, including decoding and report construction.

§result: Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<T>>>>

Core-thread receipt and finalization of the collection.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<T: 'static> ExecutionReportTask<T>

Source

pub fn new<C, F, M>(collection: F, finish: M) -> Self
where C: Send + 'static, F: Future<Output = Result<C>> + Send + 'static, M: FnOnce(C) -> Result<T> + 'static,

Creates an owned collection and its core-thread continuation.

The collection must not access the live cache. Neither phase may apply execution events. The continuation runs only after the worker terminates; canceled collections never run it.
