VenueSymbol

Struct VenueSymbol

Source
pub struct VenueSymbol {
    pub exchange_id: Ustr,
    pub symbol_type: CoinApiSymbolType,
    pub symbol: Ustr,
}
Expand description

A CoinAPI exchange, symbol type, and exchange symbol.

This identifies the venue product, not the full CoinAPI symbol_id, which can carry a provider suffix and must be retained separately for transport lookup.

Fields§

§exchange_id: Ustr§symbol_type: CoinApiSymbolType§symbol: Ustr

Implementations§

Source§

impl VenueSymbol

Source

pub fn to_native( &self, assets: &SymbolAssets, delivery: Option<Date>, ) -> Result<NativeSymbol, SymbolError>

Resolves the native instrument ID and contract semantics.

delivery is the UTC delivery date and is required for futures.

§Errors

Returns an error if the exchange and symbol type have no native mapping, or when the exchange symbol does not match the native form for assets and delivery.

Source

pub fn from_native(instrument_id: InstrumentId) -> Result<Self, SymbolError>

Resolves the CoinAPI exchange, symbol type, and exchange symbol for a native ID.

§Errors

Returns an error if the ID has no supported native form, or when its form is shared by more than one CoinAPI product.
